The Solitaire 2000 Payphone is a flexible, easy to use, payphone, which can, nevertheless, prove very effective in controlling the costs of domestic, or business, telephone calls. Overall, the Solitaire 2000 is designed to provide a payphone service for your customers, employees, or family, in a supervised environment.

The Solitaire 2000 is designed for use with British coins – 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 – and credit or debit cards, and can be plugged into a direct telephone connection, and used, straight from the box. No batteries are required. Call charges are adjustable – an adjustable minimum call charge can be applied, and connection to premium rate, “090″, numbers is barred, permanently – but emergency calls can be made without payment, as, indeed, can any call, if the PIN (”Personal identification Number”) is supplied. International calls can similarly be barred, and protection against reverse charge calls is also provided. The Solitaire 2000 features lockable, 400 coin capacity, cash box, and payment is made when the person being called answers the telephone.

Solitaire 6000

The Solitaire 6000 is a payphone similarly designed for supervised environments, but features some additional physical, and programmable, characteristics that make it suitable for use in public houses, restaurants, reception areas, etc.

Physically, the Solitaire 6000 can be wall mounted, or screwed down to the top of a table, bar or shelf, if necessary; an “HS”, or “High Security”, version – which includes metal shrouding – is also available, where security is paramount. In terms of programming, the Solitaire 6000 also features “pay on answer” operation, but with refund capability for unused coins, and options for operator access, and international calls. The 600 coin capacity cash box is easy to access, and empty – by those authorised to do so, of course – and the Solitaire 6000 also has learning capacity for new coin denominations.

Solitaire 6000 HS

The Solitaire 6000 HS is a payphone designed for use in environments that are partly supervised – hospitals, hotels, leisure centres, etc. – and provides a 1.6mm sheet steel enclosure for the phone, and cash box, along with a fully armoured handset cable. In addition, the Solitaire 6000 HS is equipped with a back plate with multiple key slots and fixing holes, allowing it to be secured firmly to a wall, to prevent tampering with the telephone socket. The cash box, itself, also has capacity for 1,200 coins – which can be useful in busy areas with high call volumes – and is protected by a high security, radial tumbler, lock.

The Solitaire 6000 HS also provides remote programming and management reporting options, including coin mechanism, cash box content, call traffic, etc. Three direct dial memory buttons are included, which can be used for taxis, or other service numbers and so help to maximise payphone revenue. Emergency calls are, once again, possible without payment, and options for international dialling, operator access and ringer volume are likewise included.
